CloseWord is a free daily semantic word guessing game. Each day, a new puzzle is generated based on a secret word. Players submit guesses and receive semantic distance rankings powered by AI. The game is provided "as is" and is intended for entertainment and educational purposes.

User Conduct

You agree not to use CloseWord for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack our game systems
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the service
• Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the game
• Attempt to discover future puzzle answers through unauthorized means
• Distribute answers or hints in a way that spoils the experience for others

Intellectual Property

All content on CloseWord, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, code, and the game concept, is the property of CloseWord or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

CloseWord is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Similarity rankings are computed from pre-calculated vector representations using cosine distance in a high-dimensional space. These mathematical rankings may not always reflect human intuition about word relatedness.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CloseWord, its creators, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service. This includes loss of data, profits, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue CloseWord at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law
