How is the distance calculated?
We use an AI embedding model to convert every word into a 1024-dimensional vector based on its contextual meaning. The distance is the cosine similarity between your guess and the secret word.
What does the rank number mean?
The rank shows how many words are closer in meaning to the secret word than your guess. A rank of 1 means you found the exact word! Top 50 words are considered 'very close'.
When does the puzzle reset?
A new secret word is generated every day at exactly midnight UTC. Everyone around the world plays the exact same puzzle.
Why isn't my word recognized?
Our dictionary contains the most common English words to ensure a fair game. If a word is highly obscure, slang, or a very specific term, it might not be in our database.
Are proper nouns allowed?
Currently, our dictionary strictly contains lowercase English words. Most proper nouns, names, and special characters are excluded to keep it focused on general vocabulary.
